Very dense small-leaved native evergreen, with dark green glossy, leathery leaves which give off an unusual sweet smell. Shade tolerant. Box has traditionally been used for topiary and formal hedging work. These lollipop forms have a clear stem of approximately 60cm and a head clipped to about 25cm in diameter.
