Acer x freemanii "Autumn's Blaze" or 'Freeman's maple' is a naturally-occuring hybrid between Acer rubrum and Acer saccarhinum. With silvery bark and a dense oval crown of dramatic, blood-red leaves in the autumn, this tree offers a striking colour display in any garden or park. This Acer is vigorously growing, with an ultimate height of 15-20 metres. Prefers moist, well drained soils, but can tolerate a range of soil-types. Hardy up to -15.
