Pieris japonica ‘White Rim’ -5L pot

£14.95

Pieris japonica ‘Variegata’ is a small, compact, rounded, evergreen shrub with variegated, narrowly ovate, glossy dark green leaves with creamy-yellow margins, pink when young. Clusters of  white, bell-shaped flowers bloom in early spring.  Pieris japonica ‘Variegata’ thrives in fertile, organically rich, acidic, medium moisture, well-drained soils. It grows best in partial shade, but is tolerant of full sun. It is very resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered from harsh winter winds, especially when young.  Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Pieris japonica ‘Variegata’, with its variegated evergreen leaves, looks stunning all year round, especially when new pink growth emerges. Ideal for containers.
